Eligibility Criteria

  • Be an active member of the SACCO.
  • Have no outstanding loan arrears.
  • Have no recovery of deposits applied towards settlement of any defaulted loan (E-Loan or any other facility).

Computation and Terms

  • Members can access up to 75% of their expected Interest on Deposits, calculated up to August 2025.
  • The computation is based on the 2024 Interest on Deposits rate of 11%.
  • An upfront fee of 7% will be applied on the approved amount.
  • Example: For an application of Ksh 10,000, the member’s FOSA account will be credited with Ksh 9,300/=
  • Members may apply for the advance multiple times, provided the total amount does not exceed their eligibility limit.
  • The minimum accessible amount is Ksh 300, and the maximum limit is Ksh 2 million.
